S.W.C & KARTIK RESEARCH AMIEL S-STRIKE SUEDE MIX ECRU-KANTHA

A rework of the Amiel S-Strike running sneaker in Ecru ‘cricket’ tones. Kartik’s iconic vintage Kantha quilting fabrics are utilised on the ‘S-Strike’ identifier panels and as an unexpected alternative to technical sneaker mesh materials throughout the shoe. The Kantha fabric borders featuring colour embroidery have been worked onto tongue panels with asymmetric co-branding labels. Mirror circles on the back heel which has become synonymous on some of Kartik’s key pieces. 

The AMIEL S-STRIKE product features:

• Lightweight uppers and multi-part composite sole unit.
• Uppers featuring Ecru suede and Ecru vintage Kantha quilt, plush dual branded tongue with Kantha edging and collar padding for comfort and support.
• Dual branded collaboration emblem on footbed.
• Back heel mirror detailing.
• High-abrasion proof laces for performance and durability.
• Sports eyelets.
• Cushioned performance low-density ‘cupped’ sports-foam footbed.
• Complex 3-part lightweight engineered sole:

1. Low-density cushioned EVA midsole
2. Cleated runner ‘island’ bottom sole.
3. TPU heel support for stability.
